About the course
AMI Montessori Orientation 12–18 provides foundational knowledge of Montessori theory and methodology for working with adolescents aged 12 to 18 years. The lecture topics focus on the developmental characteristics of adolescents and the key components of the Montessori adolescent program, including the prepared environment, the role of the adult, and the framework for work and learning. -
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an internationally recognized AMI certificate

Course Duration: 25 hours of instruction (including 2 hours of observation).
The course consists of online sessions, webinars, discussion forums, assignments, and observations. It includes theoretical lectures, reading, discussions, practical activities, and material-making.

Observations are an essential part of Montessori training, providing a deeper understanding of Montessori principles and their practical application. The format and schedule of observations will be announced during the course.

Theoretical lectures cover:
- Characteristics of adolescent development (ages 12–18);
- The fundamental needs of adolescents at this stage of development;
- Principles of the AMI approach to working with adolescents;
- The role of the adult (guide/educator) in supporting adolescents;
- The work and study plan within the 12–18 program.
Observations are an essential part of Montessori training, providing a deeper understanding of Montessori principles and their practical application. The format and schedule of observations will be announced during the course.
Dates are to be announced
Upon successful completion of the course, participants receive an internationally recognized AMI certificate (AMI Montessori 12–18 Orientation). An AMI certificate is recognized worldwide and provides opportunities to work in Montessori schools and centers around the world.
To receive the certificate, students must:
• attend at least 90% of all course sessions;
• successfully complete all course assignments;
• complete the required observation hours and submit an observation report;
• create and submit the required Montessori teaching material.

Всегда так страшно чего-то недодать, не успеть, не заметить в ребенке и упустить тот бесценный момент, когда он мог бы с нашей помощью реализовать свой потенциал. Хорошо, что есть такие курсы, которые помогают расширить свои собственные границы, снова осознать ту ответственность, которая лежит на нас и найти в себе силы и терпение "не давать, не навязывать, не тянуть", а скорее наблюдать, не мешать и не вредить.
