Montessori and AMI

what is
Montessori education is a unique approach to learning that is firmly grounded in science. The method was not developed theoretically but was refined practically — through observing children at various stages of development, organizing the environment, and taking into account child development psychology and physiology.
The Montessori system respects the individuality of each child, fostering their independence and contributing to the harmonious development of all aspects of their personality.
One of the core principles of the pedagogy is “Help me do it myself.” This means the primary goal is to support and guide the child so they can learn, grow, and become a free and capable individual on their own.
The Association Montessori Internationale (AMI) is an international organization founded by Maria Montessori herself, which ensures the high quality and standards of Montessori education worldwide, bringing together thousands of educators and schools. The organization's headquarters is located in Amsterdam, the Netherlands.
The Montessori method is recognized and used in more than 140 countries, inspiring a new generation of leaders and innovators.
