Course Duration: 60 hours of classes (36 hours with the trainer + 28 hours of independent work), 9 hours of observations.
The course consists of online sessions, webinars, discussion forums, assignments, and observations. It includes theoretical lectures, reading, discussions, practical work, and material-making.
Theoretical lectures include:- The Four Planes of Development and characteristics of children under 6 years
- Development of movement, language, will, and independence
- Sensitive periods and the child’s Absorbent Mind
- The prepared environment and its influence on personality formation
- The role of the adult in supporting the child
- Freedom and discipline, development of social skills
- Education as a path to peace
Independent work includes practical work with materials, writing assignments, and completing tasks.
Observations are an important part of Montessori training, allowing for a deeper understanding of Montessori principles and their practical application. The format and schedule of observations will be announced during the course.
